Recipe Description This recipe substitutes healthier ingredients compared to those used in traditional banana bread. The latest research supports the use of butter & coconut oil compared to margarines given the body knows how to utilize these fats.

cupswhole wheat flour, freshly ground

medium (7" to 7-7/8" long)bananas, mashed

cupcoconut oil, melted

cupraw sugar

Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) set aside.
2Mix together wet ingredients. Mash bananas, add butter and coconut oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
3Slowly mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients. In this recipe I add ground flax seeds. You can add other ingredients you prefer such as chocolate chips, walnuts, chia seeds, peanut butter chips.
4Pour equal portions into each loaf pan.
