Ingredients

Steps
Sequence Step
1In a bowl, add the kale and massage it with the 1 tbsp olive oil and pinch of salt for 5 minutes; this is to breakdown the tough membranes and make the kale more palatable to eat
2In a blender, combine the drained walnuts, garlic, lemon, vinegar, salt, pepper, and capers; add a little bit of the oil to start the blender. Then while the blender is running, add the remaining oil slowly to create an emulsion.
3Add the romaine to the Kale and pour on the dressing and massage it into the salad
4Dressing can be prepared and stored in the fridge for 5 days.
