canTomatoes, red, ripe, canned, whole, no corn syrrup and no salt added

teaspooncumin, ground

tablespoonoregano, dried
Steps
Sequence Step
1saute onions and garlic until soft.
2add zucchini, celery and carrots. saute until tender.
3pour in one small can of whole cherry tomatoes. mash tomatoes with a spoon to break them apart.
4add in chicken stock and barley.
5bring to a boil and then let simmer for 45 minutes until barley is thoroughly cooked. season with salt
6add cumin and oregano
