crusts, single 9"Pie crust, standard-type, frozen, ready-to-bake, enriched

largeeggs, white only

medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.)potatoes

ouncesbeef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes

cups fluid (yields 2 cups whipped)heavy cream
Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2Brush bottom and sides of bottom pie crust with beaten egg white.
3Add a layer of potatoes, round steak and onions; repeat layer one time.
4Dot with butter, salt and pepper
5Cover with second pie crust
6Place on baking sheet and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
7Remove from oven and pour cream into slits; return to oven and bake an additional 30 minutes or until meat and potatoes are tender.
