1
cup (8 fl oz)water, warm (105 degrees)
5
cupsflour unbleached, whole wheat, all-purpose
3
tablespoonsbutter, melted
Steps
Sequence Step
1Mix 1/2 cup of warm water with Yeast and 1T of sugar. Let sit until yeast activates
2Mix yeast mixture with butter, splenda, water, eggs, salt and half of the flour
3Add remaining flour and knead for several minutes.
4Allow dough to rise to double it''s size (about 3-4 hours), then punch down and place in fridge overnight.
5The next morning, separate the dough into two sections. Roll out each section of the dough into a 16" circle. Brush with melted butter, then using a pizza cutter, cut into 16 pieces. Roll up starting with big end, and place on a greased cookie sheet (I use Pam cooking spray). Cover with saran wrap sprayed with cooking spray to keep it from sticking to the rolls. Let rise 3-4 hours
6Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 - 17 minutes or until slightly brown on the bottom. (Using Splenda will decrease the browning of the rolls)
