| 1 | Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat milk to a simmer. Remove from heat. Beat eggs with sugar, salt and vanilla. Stir in milk. Pour into pastry shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted 1 inch from the edge comes out clean. Cool pie on rack. Serve cool or well-chilled. |
