Steps
Sequence Step
1Heat the oil in a skillet or dutch oven. Sautee the minced onion over medium heat.
2When onions are soft, add diced tomatoes.
3When tomatoes are soft, add ginger and garlic.
5Stir the beef to cook it evenly and break it up into small pieces. In the meantime, boil the cut potatoes until a fork will just go into them. Add the frozen beans (or you can substitute peas) to just thaw them. Drain potatoes and beans and add to the pan once the beef is cooked.
6Cook until potatoes and beans are heated through.
7Serve with Dahl, rice (white or brown), and low-fat or non-fat yogurt.
