Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2in a medium sized skillet add a TBS of vegetable oil and heat over medium high heat. Add the carrots, celery and onions and saute for about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let the vegetables cool.
3In a large bowl put the vegetables, beef, pork and remaining ingredients except for the bread and catsup. Soak the bread in cold water, then squeeze the water out (like a sponge) and drain it. Add the bread to the meat mixture and mix.
4Form the meat into a firm loaf. Spread the catsup over the top of the loaf and bake 55-60 minutes or until cooked through.
