Ingredients
Amt. Measure Ingredient
2
cupswheat flour, wholewheat
1
cupoats, rolled, organic
1.5
tablespoonsparsley flakes
2
largeeggs
1/2
cupmilk - 2%
3
tablespoonswater
1
cuppeanut butter, natural, non hydrogenated
1/2
cupblueberries, fresh or frozen
Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 300°.
2In a large bowl, whisk together all the dry ingredients (except blueberries)
3In a smaller bowl, beat the eggs lightly. Add water, milk, and peanut butter.
4Gently combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients
5Add in blueberries
6Knead with your hands until you have a smooth ball of dough. Sometimes I use my Kitchen Aid mixer for faster results
7Take a rolling pin and flatten out the dough. Use a cookie cutter to cut out fun shapes. If you''re feeling lazy, just leave the dough as is and bake it like one whole cookie. You can always break it up after it''s cooked.
8Make sure you''re using a non-stick baking sheet or spray it with oil.
9Bake for 30 minutes or until golden. If you want the dog treats to be softer, take them out 10 minutes earlier
