Ingredients
Amt. Measure Ingredient
1/2
cupQuinoa
1
cupAlmond Breeze, sweetened original
dashsalt
1
teaspoonalmond butter, plain
1
teaspoonmaple syrup
1
teaspooncinnamon, ground
Steps
Sequence Step
1Wash the Quinoa first. Place in a sieve and cover with cold water. Don’t worry if you miss this step, most Quinoa is now washed. Place washed Quinoa and Almond Milk into a microwave safe bowl.
2Add the pinch of salt, cinnamon and stir.
3Place the Quinoa mixture into the microwave and cook on high for 5 minutes.
4Stir and put back into microwave if all the Almond milk hasn''t dissolved. Repeat until all milk has dissolved.
5When dissolved place a lid over bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes. This lets the Quinoa puff up more.
6Fluff with fork and portion the quinoa into two bowls. Doesn’t look like much but trust me you don’t need it all, it’s filling.
7Place Almond Butter and Maple Syrup on top. Give it a good mix. Some people might put extra milk on top to make it more of a cereal I don’t. I like the dry mixture. It’s like eating a protein ball that has disintegrated, which is great for me because I love protein balls. Enjoy and eat it.
