Sequence Step
Set oven to 350 Heat 2 T oil in a heavy Dutch Oven
Rub 1 T oil on the roast; sprinkle Mrs. Dash then pat on to the roast
Brown roast in the Dutch oven on all sides
Pour the condensed soup 1/2 can water over the roast. Cover the pan.
Put in the oven and braise for 2-3 hrs. We like ours well done. Use a meat thermometer to cook to your desired doneness.
Make the Gravy Remove roast from pan. Add 1 envelope brown gravy mixed with 2 c water. Simmer for 15 mins. If you like thicker gravy, add a T cornstarch mixed with a little water.
