| 1 | Set oven to 350
Heat 2 T oil in a heavy Dutch Oven | 2 | Rub 1 T oil on the roast; sprinkle Mrs. Dash then pat on to the roast | 3 | Brown roast in the Dutch oven on all sides | 4 | Pour the condensed soup 1/2 can water over the roast. Cover the pan. | 5 | Put in the oven and braise for 2-3 hrs.
We like ours well done. Use a meat thermometer to cook to your desired doneness. | 6 | Make the Gravy
Remove roast from pan. Add 1 envelope brown gravy mixed with 2 c water. Simmer for 15 mins. If you like thicker gravy, add a T cornstarch mixed with a little water. |
