Recipe Description Really tasty and satisfying soup made from mainly root vegetables. Perfect for lunch with enough to last for 3 or 4 days. Should get 5 or 6 large bowls

cup slicesParsnips, peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks

smallTurnip, Roughly chopped into cubes

stalk, large (11\"-12\" long)celery, roughly chopped

gallonwater, boiled in a large pot/pan

cupVegetable stock - Whole Stock cube

cupWhole Chicken stock Cube

sprigsparsley, chopped
Steps
Sequence Step
1Add the water to a large pot
2Add both chicken stock and veg stock to the water
3Put water on high heat
4Add ground or cracked pepper to the water
5Finely chop fresh parsley and add it to the water
6Peel and chop all of your veg
7Add chopped veg to the pot/pan
8Allow the veg to boil for about 30 minutes or until all of the veg is soft (A turnip cube should easily be cut in half using a spoon)
9Take the pot/pan off the heat
10Use a hand held food processor or blender to blend all of the vegetables until smooth
11Allow to cool for about 10 minutes
12Serve in medium to large size bowls with some soda bread
