Steps
Sequence Step
1Put icing sugar, cornstarch, egg yolks, 1/2 cup of milk in a bowl and stir. Set aside. Put the rest of the 2 cups of milk in pot and heat till its boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
2Add the hot milk a bit at a time to the egg mixture, stirring constantly to prevent the eggs from scrambling. Pour the mixture back into the pot and put back on the stove. Stir until mixture thickens and set aside to cool.
3Slice up the bananas and put a layer into the bottom of the pie shell. Put half the cooled custard into the pie, covering all the bananas. Place another layer pf sliced bananas and top with the rest of the custard. Chill overnight or at least 4-6 hrs.
4Whip 1 cup of heavy whip cream with 2 tbs of icing sugar and 1 tsp of vanilla till stiff peaks. Top the pie with the whipped cream and grate some chocolate
