medium slices (packed 20/lb)bacon

Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2Carefully cut stem end off of the squash and discard. Cut squash into approx 1" rings, width-wise. With a spoon or tip of a knife, gently remove seeds and pulp from each ring; discard.
3Place squash rings on baking sheet. Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until strands separate easily when scraped with a fork.
4While the squash is baking, cut bacon into pieces and cook in a skillet over medium heat, moving and turning frequently, until fully cooked and crispy. With slotted spoon, remove bacon from pan and set aside.
5Remove squash from oven and allow to cool slightly. Remove shells of each ring and separate strands with a fork. Place strands in large bowl.
6Add butter to warm squash and toss until butter is fully melted. Stir in parmesan cheese and bacon.Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
