8

4

12
slicesturkey sliced
8
slice (1 oz)cheddar cheese
Steps
Sequence Step
1Slice the apples into very thin slices, removing cores, but leaving the skin, and set aside.
2Preheat an electric Panini press to approximately 300 degrees, or medium heat on a temperature gauge. If you are using a stovetop Panini press, preheat the pan to medium.
3Assemble the sandwiches while the press/pan is heating.
4First, lightly butter each slice of the bread with the 4 teaspoons of butter (use more if desired).
5With the butter side out, layer the turkey, cheese and apples and put the second piece of bread on top, butter side up.
6Place on the press and close the lid. Cook until bread is toasty brown (time varies with appliance, but usually takes just a few minutes).
7Serve immediately. The inside of the bread may be brushed with Dijon mustard or mayonnaise after grilling if desired.
