Ingredients
Amt. Measure Ingredient
3
1/8
cupsRaw Sunflower Seed Kernels
3/4
cupsvirgin, unrefined coconut oil
4
tablespoonsBlackstrap molasses
5
tablespoonsRaw chia seeds
1/2
teaspoonsea salt (Himalayan sea salt)
Steps
Sequence Step
1Add sunflower Seeds to processor
2Blend for a few mins until nuts and seeds change from coarse till it eventually becomes a fine flour.
3Process some more until the mixture turns crumbly, and then process some more until it starts to stick. Don''''t panic, this is normal.
4Add the coconut oil as the crumbly mixture starts to heat up slightly so to help release the oils from the nuts and seeds.
5When the mixture breaks down and starts to become smooth, add sweetener, Himalayan salt, and then the chia (and/or other seeds).
6When all ingredients are thoroughly blended and mixture is smooth and buttery, pour out into mason jar or sealed container.
