tablespoonall-purpose flour

teaspoonSpices, pepper, white

cupVitamin D Milk
Steps
Sequence Step
1Boil 1-1/2 cups water and dilute bouillon cube.
2In saucepan, combine broth, chopped onion, chopped celery, snipped fresh parsley, and dried basil.
3Bring mixture to boiling; reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 mins, or til celery is tender.
4Place 1/2 vegetable mixture in blender; cover and blend for 30-60 secs, or until smooth. Pour into bowl. Repeat with remaining half of mixture.
5In same saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour, salt, and white pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir until mixture is thickened and bubbly.
6Stir in blended vegetable mixture. Cook and stir til soup is heated through.
7Season to taste with additional salt and pepper.
