Homemade Organic Protein Bars- Kid Approved
Ingredients -
1 Organic Banana, mashed
1/4 cup Organic Coconut Oil
1/4 cup Raw Organic Peanut Butter (Any nut butter will work)
2-4 scoops of your favorite protein powder
1/4 cup Organic Shredded Coconut
1/4 cup Organic Raisins/ cranberries , or any dried fruit you desire
1/4 cup water (depending on how much protein powder you use, you may need to add a little more water, but not much. 1/4 more at most, as the batter should be thick, and chunky.)
1/4 cup Organic Unsalted Sunflower Seeds
1 1/2 cups Organic Natural Rolled Oats
1/2 cup Organic Carob** or Chocolate Chips
Method -
- In a medium bowl mash the banana.
- Add coconut oil and peanut butter and stir with a fork until well combined.
- Add coconut, oats, protein powder, sunflower seeds and water, stir until well combined.
- Finally add your raisins and stir to combine.
