Steps
Sequence Step
1Sort beans and rinse in cold water. Please beans in slow cooker; add 4 cups water. Cover; let stand overnight.
2Drain and rinse beans, discarding liquid. return beans to slow cooker. add bacon.
3In a small bowl, combine the onion, brown sugar molasses, sugar, mustard, salt, cloves, pepper and 2 cups beef broth. Pour mixture over beans; stir to combine
4Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours or untill beans are tender.
