| 1 | Heat griddle or frying pan, 300º F or medium heat. | 2 | Set aside almonds. Put together all other dry ingredients and combine until thoroughly mixed. | 3 | In separate bowl, combine all wet ingredients. Remember, if your milk is cold, warm it up - or somehow temper the melted butter so that it does not re-solidify when added to the milk. | 4 | Mix wet set of ingredients into dry, just until combined. Batter will be lumpy. | 5 | Pour 1/4 cup rounds onto griddle or frying pan. Sprinkle each with sliced almonds. | 6 | When bubbles form and pop in batter, flip and cook until done. | 7 | Serve immediately! Top with whatever you choose. Eat and enjoy. |
