Recipe Description After looking at a few other spelt and/or buckwheat pancake recipes, I decided to throw together my own. Super delicious. Oh my, God.

oz (24 whole kernels)almonds

pat (1" sq, 1/3" high)butter, melted

Steps
Sequence Step
1Heat griddle or frying pan, 300º F or medium heat.
2Set aside almonds. Put together all other dry ingredients and combine until thoroughly mixed.
3In separate bowl, combine all wet ingredients. Remember, if your milk is cold, warm it up - or somehow temper the melted butter so that it does not re-solidify when added to the milk.
4Mix wet set of ingredients into dry, just until combined. Batter will be lumpy.
5Pour 1/4 cup rounds onto griddle or frying pan. Sprinkle each with sliced almonds.
6When bubbles form and pop in batter, flip and cook until done.
7Serve immediately! Top with whatever you choose. Eat and enjoy.
