| 1 | Saute onions, garlic, celery in olive oil in a very large pot | 2 | add ground beef, and ground turkey to brown in onion, garlic, celery mixture | 3 | once meat is browned, add taco seasoning, beer, crushed tomato, tomato paste | 4 | drain and rinse beans (you can sub any type of canned beans that you have) add to pot | 5 | add all remaining spices, including cinnamon and brown sugar, add additional spices and salt to taste | 6 | add corn (I use one package of the frozen "southwestern blend" which includes corn, black beans, red and green pepper, and onion) | 7 | bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for at least 20 minutes. |
