large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.)potatoes

Steps
Sequence Step
1Heat oven to 325-degrees.
2Peel and cut potatoes in chunks. Peel and cut carrots in chunks. Clean celery and cut in chunks. Peel and cut onions in quarters.
3Heat oil in a 4-quart Dutch oven over medium heat. Brown beef cubes in oil. Add flour, salt, garlic powder, marjoram and pepper. Cook for 1 minute. Stir in tomatoes and beef broth. If tomatoes are whole, use a wooden spoon to break them apart some. Mix well and bring mixture to a boil stirring frequently.
4Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
