Ingredients
Amt. Measure Ingredient
1
large rectangular piece or 2 squares or 4 small regraham crackers, crushed
1/2
cup, choppedpecans, finely ground, then measure
1/4
cupflaxseed meal
2
tablespoonsbutter - melted
Steps
Sequence Step
1preheat oven to 375 put butter in cooking pan you are going to use. place in oven until butter is melted.
2in food processor finely grind graham cracker and pecans (you can do this separately or together) (i grind a bag of pecans at a time and keep them in the fridge for whenever i need them.)
3mix well together graham cracker, pecans, and flax meal. pour butter over (stir while you do this) and keep mixing til consistent thru, it will be crumbly.
4pour into your baking pan and press down as evenly as possible. the bigger the pan, the thinner the crust will be of course, and this doesn''t do well trying to get it up straight sides, so if you need crust on the sides, use a pie pan/tin.
5bake 15 minutes til you see a change in colour. remove from oven and let cool completely for maximum crunch.
