| 1 | Steam broccoli for 30 minutes in a steamer or collander over rapidly boiling water. | 2 | Use a potato masher and smash florets until crumbly. | 3 | Add all of milk and continue to mash. Add broth to smooth until desired consistency. | 4 | If creamy are preferred, may put in blender and pulse with a tablespoon of broth added at a time until whipped consistency desired is reached. | 5 | Fold in additional seasoning. For an option, if you like sour cream in your mash, try using 1/4 cup fat free plain yogurt. |
