| 1 | Heat oil in a soup pot and saute onions and peppers. And garlic and continue to saute until the mixture is fragrant. | 2 | Add chili powder and cumin and saute for another 1-2 minutes. | 3 | Add meat crumbles and continue to saute just enough to heat through. | 4 | Add tomatoes, and let cook for about 15 minutes (giving tomatoes enough time to release their juices and cook down a little). | 5 | Add the can of beer and beans. Bring chili to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. |
