ounceclams, canned with clam juice (6 6.5 ounce cans)

teaspoonred pepper flakes, or to taste

cupparsley, minced fresh

teaspoonslemon juice fresh
Steps
Sequence Step
1Prepare linguine according to package directions; drain. Keep warm.
2Sauté garlic in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 1 to 2 minutes. Do not allow to brown.
3Drain clams and use reserved juice to add clam juice (and the additional 2 bottles of clam juice) and crushed red pepper; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10-15 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
4Stir in wine and lemon juice. Simmer 3 minutes.
5Stir in parsley. Simmer 3 more minutes.
6Stir in clams. Simmer an additional 2 minutes.
7Toss with pasta and serve immediately.
