Ingredients

1	cup	shortening
1/2	cup	Margarine, regular, stick
1	large	eggs
1	teaspoon	salt
1 1/4	cup	splenda granulated sugar
1/4	cup	splenda granulated sugar
2 1/2	cups	Organic Unbleached Cake Flour
2	teaspoons	baking powder
2.5	tablespoons	milk - 2%
1/2	cups	milk - 2%
2 1/2	teaspoons	vanilla extract
1	teaspoon	almond extract
3/4	cup	cream, half and half
1	cup	milk powder, dry, nonfat
1	cup	Cornstarch
2	tablespoons	water

Steps

Sequence	Step

1	Mix the items that are dry for the dough
2	Do not overmix the dough or it gets tough
3	To make the icing, add the dry milk, part of the margarine and the cornstarch together until mixed well
4	Mix on high speed until fluffy
5	Chill the dough for 4 hours
6	Preheat oven to 325 degrees
8	Bake 8 minutes for soft cookies
10	Frost as desired
11	Store in a sealed container and do not stack! This icing stays soft and will smoosh
