1/4
cupred wine vinegar
1
tablespoonlemon juice
4
pattys (4 oz, raw) (yield after cooking)ground turkey
1/4
cup, choppedSweet Onion, chopped
1
tablespoonapplesauce
3/4
teaspoonblack pepper

1
tablespoonbread crumbs (soft)
4
servingshamburger buns split and toasted
Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat grill or oven to 350°F.
2In a small bowl, combine the mixed berries, raspberry vinegar and lemon juice; blend into a sauce and set aside.
3In a large mixing bowl, combine the turkey, onions, apple sauce, cayenne, salt and pepper; mix well. If the mixture is too moist add the bread crumbs to thicken, one teaspoon at a time.
4Separate the mixture into 4 equal parts and mold into patties. Once the grill has reached its heat, lightly baste the rack with olive oil to prevent sticking. (If using an oven, place the patties on a nonstick baking sheet and cook 10-12 minutes.) Cook the burgers 3-4 minutes on each side. Assemble the fully cooked burgers on the buns, top with the berries and sauce.
