I use a nonfat spray and cook the turkey burgers on top the stove. To keep the burgers from drying out, I added about 4 or 5 oz. nonfat all natural chicken broth to the skillet after the burgers were browned on both sides. Wrap the finished patty in a La Tortilla Factory Whole Wheat
(Olive Oil tortilla style wrap) This is a great substitute for the bun and adds a mere 100 calories, but a whopping wonderful 14g of fiber! Well worth it, but if you have a second burger, don't have a second tortilla!
Assemble all ingredients and heat pan a large skillet (nonstick is best) to Med heat

Mix turkey meat, dried milk, egg whites, bread crumbs and seasonings in a large bowl. Sweat the veggies in a skillet, no fat needed.

Add softened veggies to the turkey meat ans stir. Heat the skillet to med using only nonstick spray at first. Arrange patties in skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides. While skillet is very hot and burgers are pan seared add about 1/2 cup nonfat chicken stock to pan and finish burgers.

urgers should be white...NO Pink. through and through. I got 4 large and one extra large patty out of this recipe. Warm the tortillas and wrap the burger up in the tortilla, with a dollop of mustard, or BBQ sauce or whatever condiment you like. Just a little, and nonfat is the goal, so easy on the mayo people.
