Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 350F
2Coat a 10" tube pan with cooking spray and dust with bread crumbs.
3Combine flour and baking soda in a bowl and stir well.
4Beat butter in a large bowl with a mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Gradually add the granulated sugar and lemon juice (save 2 tablespoons), beating until well-mixed. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add the rind and beat for 30 seconds.
5Add the flour mixture to sugar mixture alternately with sour cream, beating at low speed, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
6Spoon into the prepared pan. Bake at 350F for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until wooden prick comes out clean.
7Cool cake in pan for 10 minutes and then on a wire rack.
8Combine 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and powdered sugar. Drizzle over top of cake.
