beat together butter and sugar. beat in salt egg yolk almond extract and orange rind. add flour and mix. pressover parchment paper in 9 x 13 pan. brush with beaten egg white sprinkle almonds on top bake for 30 min. brush with 2 tbsp hiney bake 15 min more. cool then cut into squares.
