Recipes - HealthyMom

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Except for dried fruit (i.e. craisins, bananas, raisins, or cherries), mix all ingredients in large bowl. Grease large baking sheet (with sides) with a small amount of canola oil. Spread granola mixture evenly on baking sheet. Cook for approximately 30 minutes until granola starts to turn a nice light brown. Remove from oven and immediately spoon granola back into mixing bowl. (Note: do not let granola start to cool on baking sheet or it will be difficult to remove). Mix-in 1 Cup (or slightly more) of dried fruit of your choice (craisins work really nicely). As granola cools, periodically chop it up and stir to make nice 'crumbles'. Ideas: Great when mixed in with yogurt and fresh berries; also great as a topping for ice cream. To create more of a trail mix snack, add your favorite "mix-in's" to granola (i.e. M&M's, almonds, peanuts, raisins, etc.)
